Devo Series: Victory Over Life's Storms

Life has a way of raining on our parade. Without warning, thunder rumbles in the distance, and storms brew even when skies are seemingly sunny. The clouds get dark, the wind picks up, and the waves start to toss our safe little boat out to sea. Before we know it, we feel like we’re drowning. It’s in these moments of sheer desperation, when rough waters threaten to capsize the comfortable life we’ve built, that we often wonder where God is. Is He sleeping? Does He understand what we’re going through? Does He even hear our prayers?

Maybe even now in the midst of this global pandemic, you feel like your life has been tossed out to sea. And now, in the aftermath, you’re riding waves of fear and uncertainty, treading water. Jesus never promised that life would be void of pain, suffering, or hardship. However, He did promise that He would never leave us in the midst of the storm.

Journey with us over the next five days as we learn how to walk with Him and weather life’s storms in this new devotional series.
